C. Clark Charleston S.C. (1851)

The 1st and rarest of all Charles Clark soda bottles. This is the first bottle Clark used which is likely a product of Federal Hill and similar to the W.H. Buck bottles of that time. Considered rare, you might find one of these slug plated arched lettered Clark bottles for every 25 regular C. Clark’s. This gorgeous deep emerald green example is a dug example that has not been cleaned. Although there is some stain and etching from being buried there is NO damage on this example! The early crude applied tapered top is perfect and there are no pings, cracks, chips, fisheye’s , etc… It would respond well to a professional tumbled or displays well in it’s original condition. Very rare Charleston soda and the hardest of the C. Clark bottles to obtain.
