The bottle is in dug condition with some light ground swirls typical of age and burial. There is a ¼” chip on the reverse side, accompanied by a bruise around the area (see last photos, all glass is stable). Fortunately, the damage is on the back side, and it displays beautifully from the front.
The bottle could benefit from a light cleaning—there’s still some dirt on the interior shoulders (see photos), but overall this piece remains a fantastic example of a rare and highly sought-after poison bottle. Displays like a near-perfect specimen despite the reverse damage.
